heading south on the A34 today, was a green Minor campervan seen it in an article somewhere recently, but can't think where!
So yesterday, I made a 270 mile round trip to Lowestoft, in order that Mrs Berni could visit her father in a Care Home. While she was visiting, I made myself scarce and on driving nearby, I spotted the back of a Traveller in a front garden under a sort of plastic fronted car porch.
Does it belong to anyone here?
Ingenious little see through garage, which I guess might get around planning objections for a garage out front......
On Saturday I took my van to a village fair and classic car show in Ashley Green near Chesham and saw a saloon and two other vans. Then I went into Berkhamsted and saw a Traveller.
Complete mechanical rebuild including new frame, new electrics, new interior, solid body. Paint not perfect. New electronic ignition. about 700 lb carrying capacity. A real attention getter. Great advertising potential or make a statement about a hard working little truck. Fun to drive, all systems working well.

On this misty morn spotted at 0645hrs passing the church in Hurstbourne Tarrant, CAS 522 a black saloon covered in damp. Not local, so on a long cross country journey? A good day for it and I wish I was going with him!
Regards to him from MikeN.
Morris Minor, the car of the future. One day they will all look like this!
