Re: Spotted today.
The difference is if you wanted to find a registration no for, lets say, a white traveller to clone - you wouldn't hit the roads looking, but would jump on a specialist website or google images.JOWETTJAVELIN wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 8:17 pm Anyone who sees a car on a public road can see its registration mark.
Personally I wouldn't be fussed about pics with my reg plates going online - there are enough of them already there from shows etc - but some people are worried so good ettiquite should be to remove/doctor the plates...

Well I suppose the criminals could be on the look-out for a car to clone on their next robbery. With a Traveller they could fit plenty of loot in.

Yes clone from ones armchair ! Some folk are more private than others, as posted, respecting privacy is being thoughtful.

Re: Spotted today.
As i was walking to Honor Oak Station near my son's flat in London yesterday, a very battered Almond Green 4 door pulled in just by the side of me. Nice to see a Minor being used instead of pampered. Out jumped a very young looking priest or vicar, who told me that there are several Minors in the immediate area.

Re: Spotted today.
Saw a new Ocado advert on TV last night.
Front view is blurred as only on screen for about 1 second as it drove through the puddle so couldn't freeze it clearly, just added it so people could see the front aspect of the colour scheme....
Anyone want to own up to owning it....

Anyone else on here watching 'Wheeler Dealers: Dream Car' currently showing on Quest (Freeview 12)? If so I imagine that you're as fascinated as I am by ex F1 head mechanic Marc 'Elvis' Priestley's choice of personal daily driver, an immaculate Morris Minor Pickup.

Spotted this near Parys Mountain on Anglesey a couple of weeks ago, it was just laid in the field at the side of the road.

This one was fairing a little better in Anglesey Motor Museum. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
