Interior Colour

Post by TerryG »

Does anybody know what colour interior (seats, carpet door cards etc) would origionally have gone into a 1966 maroon b traveller? Would it origionally have had carpet in the "boot" or black wood?

According to Ray Newell's "Original Morris Minor" Maroon B was introduced in October 1967. The trim was Cherokee Red with red carpets. I don't think the 'boot' area was ever carpeted nor was it black. It was a blue/grey hard wearing material with aluminium rubbing strips.
