Gearbox 3rd Shaft Thrust Washer

Hi

I cannot find any documentation to give me a clue what thickness of washer I should use. They come in various oversizes.
I am guessing that I need to set the 3rd shaft gear cluster end float to .001-.003" the same as the laygear.

Does anyone know where to find any information on that please. There is nothing in AKD530
