More questions related to this poorly maintained Morris I've purchased!
Whilst trying to find why the car is puffing out black smoke from the exhaust I found that the throttle linkage is very worn to the point of failure.
I've attached a link below, anyone know what parts I should get here? Normally good with an exploded diagram but struggling her for some reason

It is never a tight fit in the carb butterfly operating lever. So long as the cable is not worn and you can get a fully open throttle you will be ok.
You can tighten the fit in the arm by placing a suitable washer(s) between the split pin and lever.
