Quarter lights

Post by Molly123 »

I’m about to replace the rubbers in the quarter lights of my traveller.
Any tips on how to do this would be gratefully received.
Thanks

I was dreading doing mine, but it turned out to be dead easy.

Just remove the screws from the top hinge pin on the door frame, the whole unit will just pull away slightly and can be lifted out of the bottom bracket.
The rubber section just pulls out of the frame, and replacing it is just a reverse of the above.
It took me about 30 minutes, and I also replaced the bottom blocks and the split bush as they were well worn too.
