Traveller rear luggage cover
I'd like to fit some form of cover for the rear luggage compartment of my traveller. Some one must have done this before so any advise would be welcome.

Re: Traveller rear luggage cover
Some years ago (4-7?) there was an article in "Minor Matters" which described and illustrated just such a device. Aa I remember it, it consisted of a domestic window roller blind secured at the back of the rear seats which could be drawn backward towards the rear doors and what would have been its lower bar had their ends dropped downward into vertical "U" shaped cups to secure the blind in position. (It was, of course, a blind operated by a draw string attached at the middle of the bar and not one of those with an endless chain at the side of the roller.)
It seemed a simple, practical and workmanlike solution. MikeN.

Another option could be a breakers yard as some models have the roller blind covers that you maybe able to adapt one to fit.
Some Skoda estate models, Focus estates maybe?

I fitted and modified Ford Escort Estate rear bay cover - it needed to be reduced in length by about 2 inches, and it site behind the rear bench seat quite comfortably and covers the rear bay from prying eyes.
