What is particularly clever about your reproduction is the custom CAD and 3D printed housing.

I decided I needed a one off smaller clock for my car so I had a go at a 52mm version.
It turned out quite well too. This clock is based on a 40x8mm round quartz movement and using a standard bezel and glass. The 3D printed housing is again designed to match the bezel, the glass and the movement. The dial was done on my inkjet printer with photo paper.

I posted the designs on here a while ago but found that someone had copied the designs and was freely selling them on the inetrnet. NOT COOL! The drawing work was done by Gryf Ketcherside in the US. Very generous bloke.

Hi,
I've just bought an MM and with it the seller included some spares.
Amongst said spares was an original glove box clock, however it is missing it's chrome outer ring, does anyone have a spare or can they suggest where I might source one of the correct diameter?
I will post up a separate post as well but I thought people interested in this post might be a good starting point for me, could a bezel from one of these battery versions fit or be adapted to?

I have been working on making a quality reproduction of the Smiths optional clock for some years on and off. Unfortunately, the chrome trim ring is an odd size which nobody manufactures anymore. Pre-COVID there were a few suppliers of a suitable item that Declan Burns and I were using (as seen in Declan's photo above).
I have resorted to extensively modifying a currently available trim ring--that is only vaguely the right size and style--to make it suitable.
BTW, are you sure your clock is a real MM clock and not the variation that was used in the Morris Oxford and a few other models? They did not have a trim ring attached to the clock itself.
