Seems the local vicar's wife treated him to it and he attempted an alternator conversation, new loom, disposal of trafficators and new indicators. It seems to have gone horribly wrong.
I suppose that's why he's a vicar and not a mechanic

I drove a car with trafficators and was a bit concerned that most of the modern drivers wouldn't be looking for them or know what they were. I think if they could be rigged up to flash, it might not be original but it might allow for the average twonk.myoldjalopy wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 3:53 pm One is tempted to think that it serves him right for removing the dear old trafficators! He's put awful steel plates over the trafficator slots! The garage chap is trying to convince him to use indicators in conjunction with trafficators.myoldjalopy wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 3:53 pm One is tempted to think that it serves him right for removing the dear old trafficators! You can indeed. Had them on mine for a while now. Brighter than standard bulbs. No wiring needed for them. Straight swap. About £26 a pair from
