National Rally 2018
I don't want to be 'diffficult' but on the entry from we received with the MM magazine, there was no place to opt out of the food for the Saturday night party. What does one do if one cannot eat 'normal' pie for serious health reasons (like me, I'm Coeliac) or if one is vegan or allergic to onions or if one simply doesn't want to eat calorific-laden pie?

Re: National Rally 2018
I have mentioned it to the organisers and no doubt a solution will be found.
There is so much for them to fit on to the application form, it can't be easy.
Overall it looks like a good programme which everyone should enjoy.

This discussion point has been raised several times (by me) as I prefer to eat earlier and like you to have different food. Having the option was tried one year but very few people opted out so it does now tend to be, as suggested above, a package deal. that said, if there are enough of us who want the choice then I'm sure that it could be considered again.
Re: National Rally 2018
As an aside, a quick reminder that there will be a "The Full Monty" Tribute act by some of the National Rally Team at the party, so you might be able to get hold of some sausage meat, but there won't be any spices. That's right, no ginger bush. On a serious note, it is hoped to raise money for research into prevention and treatment of, and also awareness of, prostrate cancer. Book your tickets early.

Oh NOOO simmitic, you've repeated the Minor Matters P15 preview error: it's PROSTATE cancer, not lying down prostrate!! (it's correct on the booking form).
Judging by the dietary requirements of MMOC members going on MOT2018 'fussy eaters' are not a small minority: I have 27 special dietary requirement requests so far out of approx 200 diners. That includes coeliacs, non-coeliac gluten intolerants, vegetarians, vegans and allium family allergies and that's not the end of it....and we are endeavouring to cater for everybody. That said, no doubt not everybody will find the choice of all of the 3-course menu(s) to their personal taste but I hope it won't make them ill nor offend their dietary sensibilities.
Personally at something like the National Rally 'do' I'd just be happy with an opt-out option for the pies at the booking stage. That should minimise hassle for the MMOC office or on the day.

There's a wonderful old Stanley Holloway monologue about prescription instructions advising that the medicine be taken in a 'recumbent posture ' and the resulting search for said item. Maybe the complaint was 'prostrate cancer'?

Impossible to say, it depends entirely on which day the car that you want to buy is there, or the buyer that you need for yours arrives. Come on both days
