Thanks for that Phil. Mine is the "B3" model and I have read those instructions from page to page but I can't seem to find how long the unit should be charged for prior to use and the link for the other model you've posted doesn't state the same for that model either ! ........ Am I missing something folks ?

Does your charger/jump start have a % charge digital display?
If the charger/jump start has a digital charge display then when 100% charge is displayed the charger/jump start is fully charged.
Reading the instructions the charger/jump start should not be used for jump starting when the charger/jump start holds less than 60% charge.

It does have a digital display but it's been plugged in since 13.00 hrs this afternoon, and still plugged in some 9 hrs later, and the displays don't seem to be altering at all .

If that is the case take it back as my reading of the digital display/instruction book is that as the charger/jump start battery is charged the displayed % of charge increases.

yeh my sentiments exactly. Just turned her off and the display started off at 10 ... just 10 no % symbol, and it's stayed that way from 13.00hrs till now, 22.45 hrs so refund it is then . Thanks for the help Phil.
