Interior Trim

Post by markward »

What is the best glue for sticking vinyl trim back onto the hardboard? The trim is peeling off in my Traveller and since I've got the rear panels off while I sort out the woodwork it seems a good idea to get them sorted.
Thanks

Or alternatively, get a bug tub of EvoStick. You can get it from B&Q and the like. It smells evil and is best used in a well-ventilated open space. I used it to carpet the interior panels of the boot... Oy, the walls are melting again! :o It's good stuff, and you can put it exactly where you want - unlike the sprays, I should imagine. However, it's not specifically upholstery adhesive, and you have to be careful about what you use it on. The vinyl I've tried it on has all lasted unscathed, but it's best to test an inconspicuous area just to be sure :)
Happy Minoring!

Thanks for the advice, I've got some Evostick in the garage, I think I'll wait for a sunny day and sit outside when I use it.
