Hi, I am about to fit new valve guides and oil seals on my 1961 Minor 1000 engine, there seems to be quite a few to choose from so could somebody tell me where to get them and what the part numbers are please.
Thanks, Bernard.

Re: Valve guides
These are the valve guides I would fit - they are the type that can have the top hat seal fitted.

This is the valve seal required:-

The valve seals need only be fitted to the inlet valve guides as the exhaust valves need the lubricant - the unleaded fuel now used has little if any lubricating qualities.
When you have fitted the valve guides the seats need to be cut concentric to the guide otherwise the valve may not sit squarely on the head valve seat and fail sooner than expected.
