Was it possibly UKT*** ? A black 2-door splittie, with white cheese-grater grille, from the Worcester/Malvern area and Malvern Hills branch member.
Definitely wasn't mine!

A bit off-topic but a couple of days ago we had parked outside our village school a beautiful and perfect Morgan Aero 8. And its registration was "VEE ATE" - no numbers at all - and the first word "vee" had the letters E reversed! How can that be?
I see they cost "from £92,610" and this had a few extras so I suppose I was looking at a hundred grand. But number plate - another £20K? If you can afford then I suppose you can put up with the odd fine for an illegal number plate.
Regards, MikeN.
PS Recession? What recession?

Presumably V33 ATE. On DVLA database. Silver Morgan. Plate is illegally formatted if as you say, but nobody seems to bother much these days. Expect the owner has a pair of 'correct' plates for fitting on MOT day!

I thought of yours but no, it was definitely a K :)

I follow some of the Motorway Policing twitter accounts; I've seen the occasional tweet about them nicking someone for their plate format, usually as a bonus to some other offence...

Coincidence maybe... two Rileys this morning in the Habberley area. A two-tone green/black 1930's 4-door sports-saloon travelling along Wolverley Road. 30 minutes later, another 1930's 4-door saloon. All black possibly fabric body travelling along Bridgnorth Road.

Spotted today in the Christmas gift-food section of Dunelm's branch in Kidderminster.

Nice festive Moggie biscuit tin filled with shortbread for £8. I was tempted but resisted otherwise it would be empty before Halloween. I've hinted to Mrs.P.B. that I wouldn't object if Santa managed to squeeze a tin down the chimney (boiler flue) in a couple months' time!

Its Christmas by stealth. A lot of it is currently disguised as halloween stock... then it'll be bonfire night stock... then Xmas stock.

The non-transferrable stuff with snow, Santa, reindeer and damn irritating smug-faced elves etc is still there. Mrs PB was out last weekend buying up new tree decorations

Spotted today in Quendon (Essex) and then later in Newport (Essex) Blue 4 door XMC482G going like the clappers on the back roads to Debden, where I caught it up. The chap was using it as a courier car and had just bought it in the Potteries I believe for £1200. Slightly rough on the outside but nothing drastic. Series 3 front seats , telescopic shocks etc. Engine sounded sweet as a nut. Passed on the Uttlesford Branch details only to find he lives half a mile from me.... Another recruit ! Yay !

Went to Newark Autojumble yesterday, wasn't as busy as last month, but as it was winding up, the 'classics' carpark in addition to my splitie (which was out of shot behind me), had this green van and a black traveller.
In fact if you look closely, the Morris brand was well represented amongst the remaining vehicles. :)

There was also a Persian Blue pickup with canvas tilt but I didn't manage to get a photo of it.

Today in Kidderminster... a close Minor relative. Nice-looking/sounding Wolseley 1500 Series I 'Family' model (1958-ish). Reg. KFF*** in Yukon Grey with matching steel sun-visor and chrome door-mounted spot-lamp.
