Yes. I was thinking of using the highly effective flashing LED units in the trafficators so wouldn't need the additional flasher unit. I wondered though if the self cancelling switch was originally fitted with trafficators, then they'd be self cancelling wouldn't they?

As in my previous post. Self-cancelling trafficator switch fitted from March 1959 so would be correct for your car.
