But what is the best sealant to use around fairly newish front windscreen rubbers that fit but not tight enough so ending up with a little puddle of water in the foot well when it rains all rather boring!
I did not have much success with Captain Tolleys, mainly due to the fact that the reproduction screen seals are a poor fit. I had my seals replaced after the roof was resprayed and new seals fitted, in the end I used this, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ARBOMAST-Auto ... Swl8NVdZmX
Captain Tolleys cure is great if the gap is only a hairline crack in the seal or the seal has cracked due to age.

Opinions are like people, everyone can be different.
With Captain Tolleys if the crack or gap is larger than a hair line crack let the first application go off and apply a second dose and if necessary a third dose.
It cured a Ford Mondeo leaking rear window seal that allowed water to enter the car that could be observed flowing through the leaking seal.
Once done it never leaked again.
