Hello Could you please remind me of the location of the bonnet lever rattle spring location. I don't remember removing it. Can't find much about it. And also the location of the interior light for a traveller as it was already removed and I need to refit the wood to something. Again I cant much on this.
Thanks alot Steven

Re: Bonnet Anti rattle spring, interior light location
The interior light is central, just to the rear of the roof join. Mine (1971) is mounted on a metal bracket fastened to the roof joining bolts, but I've seen a wooden mount on pictures of earlier ones.
Not sure if I can help on the anti rattle spring. Mine was attached to a small triangular plate which hooked over the long bonnet release rod, but can't remember where the front end attached. As I've lost the small plate for mine I hope someone else comes up with a picture of one!

Oh does it? Mines a 1970 i can only find abit of wood that looks like it might do it. Tho im sure I can make something up. Gotta buy a rear head lining aswell.
With the bonnet spring iv got the small plate and spring but can't remember disconnecting them and can't see how it goes. Tho im sure it's not to important.
Thanks Steve

And thanks from me to Panky as well, that's helpful. I like the coil bracket/elephants trunk retainer arrangement - is that a one-off?
Re: Bonnet Anti rattle spring, interior light location
I re-used the bracket that held the coil to the dynamo when I went to alternator. There's not much room on the inner wing to locate the coil and the bracket fitted round the elephants trunk perfectly with very little modification

I concur with the hole location next to the two bolts is where the spring should hook into.
