Distributer differences?

Post by davidpidge »

Hello all,
Been a long time since I've posted. I've just bought a 1098 engine to upgrade my traveller. It currently has it's original 948cc lump so I'm wondering which ancillaries will be usable from the 948 on the new 1098.
The 1098 comes with carb and exhaust manifold but no distributer or engine mounts.
Any other problems i might face swapping them?
Thanks
David

A series engines use a 25d or 45d distributor.45d is thought to be the better option.Maybe fit an electronic 45d(cost aprox £60)
