Hello all. I've recently fit a new throttle cable to my minor, and for some reason, it now gives off unbelievably high revs in the engine, at first I thought it was because I hadn't reattached the radiator, so I popped the radiator back on, filled up, still the same thing.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Re: Over Revving
Have you put the return spring back on? Or it could be you've got the inner cable too tight, loosen off the little nipple and make sure the throttle spindle is pushed back against it's stop before tightening it again.

Re: Over Revving
The radiator won't make any difference to the speed of the engine, but you should not run the engine without water in the cooling system as you could get local heat distortion of the block or head. Is your over revving continuous or are you saying that the speed is too high when pressing the throttle? As above, i suspecty that the throttle return spring has not been connected.
