I have just bought a 51 split screen (well according to the logbook it is feb 1951 chassis no. smm86537 reg no: KDG 163 and it appears to be this model. It only has the logbook with it and one MOT carried out in 2013. The VIN plate matches the logbook.
However..... there is a stack of old MOTs etc with the car which the seller (whom I think is wrong) claims is from this car but it has had a plate change (although on the MOT certificates it has a different vin number, engine number and colour!). This reg no is: OOP 575 and the buff logbook states a 54 Morris in blue....
I think the history is from another car as the HPI check shows two owner and no plate change along with 2 owners from new. The buff logbook has 6 owners on it and was cancelled in the 70s.
If this is the case, which is what I suspect, that is ok however I thought I might see on here if anyone owns OOP 575 or if anyone knows any more about KDG 163? I know it is on the owners register as a 51 in green 2 door (which is what it is) but this was added in 2011.
