Hi, I've received my new cylinder & intend to fit today, its for the front left, Am I right in thinking I should be able to replace the seized one & just bleed that wheel, ? All other wheels are ok, but I did notice front right drum seems loose with just one grub screw, so I'm fitting the other. Also I've bought a remote resevoir kit, but I'll fit that later, any advice? Thanks

If you bought the remote reservoir kit with the synthetic rubber hose you fill find that the hose is not fit for purpose and sweats brake fluid-you paint will love it.
The kits I make up for the MG T series cars use a stainless steel braided Teflon Goodridge hose and fittings and don't sweat.

Be prepared for the short bridging pipe that connects the 2 wheel cylinders to break when you undo it. You can try giving it a soak in something beforehand and carefully wire brushing it, and if possible you could carefully heat it with a blowtorch if it is reluctant to come off. That pipe is normally the biggest hassle when replacing front wheel cylinders. And yes, you should be able to bleed just that one wheel. Might be worth adjusting the other side too though, to make sure they are balanced after you've adjusted the side you're working on up.

Make sure you top up the master cylinder before starting - then put a piece of plastic film wrap over the opening before refitting the cap. This will minimise loss of fluid -DO NOT clamp the flexi pipe..... As above - good luck with the joining pipe if it hasn't been undone for a while... I would have had a new one in stock before starting. The remote master is a waste of money - far more hassle than it is worth.

Update, Got the new cylinder fitted & as you say pipe joining the two cylinders was difficult, gave it all a good soaking in penners & even then the end of the joining pipe I wanted to undo would not shift, luckily the other end came undone, so I removed the seized cylinder complete with pipe after CAREFULLY feeding it through the front of the drum. In the workshop managed to loosen the pipe a little, but even so decided to fit new cylinder to pipe & feed it back through the drum, all done & bled, For adjustment I did one adjusting screw at a time until the brake locked, checked them twice, hopefully this is correct,
Next I will order the little joining pipe
