Unusual venue but what a cracking day with literally thousands of visitors through the gate
It was their open day and my local club was asked to put on a display.
I was last to arrive so got my own row

Absolutley fascinating day, had an in-depth discussion with a magnet designer who was building a prototype array for the LHC at CERN - he looked about twelve
Inside the 'Syncatron' building
This is ALICE Accelerators and Lasers In Combined Experiments

There was so much to see and plenty of sciencey things for the kids to do - brilliant day

Nice report Panky from your rally day at Daresbury.
What club are you associated with ? A branch of Morris Minor or other.

Thanks pmg. I'm with Northwest Casual Classics, based in Great Sankey near Warrington. We are what I would describe as an eclectic mix of cars ranging from a 1920's Morris Cowley and Austin 7, a 1930's Austin Sixteen and spanning the decades right up to a virtually new Morgan . There's a few Minors in there too
