This has really got me stumped. While restoring this traveller the thing thats making it so difficult is undoing everyone else crap bodywork welding 'cures'?
My problem is i have just renewed the whole floor and have put in inner rear floor edge panels (ones with drain holes in).
Everything went like clockwork on the drivers side, however last panel of floor i put in was the rear passenger footwell part.
Made sure it was at exactly same depth into the car as the drivers side, but after welding in floor edge panel on passenger side it matched up and met front spring hanger mount perfectly, but theres an inch gap from the front spring hanger mount and inner edge of inner floor edge repair panel up to the bottom of the new floor pan i put in??
Its like i have welded in the whole rear passenger side of the floor pan an inch too high, but i haven't!
The inner rear floor edge repair at the front end met up perfectly with the bottom of the sill boxing plate (with the circular holes in it ),so thats fine.
I know this hard to explain and visualise but i've tried my hardest! ;-)
Rear inner floor edge repair problem??

Re: Rear inner floor edge repair problem??
Pop some pictures up. Iv found with some panels they haven't lined up as expected. But aslong as everything is where it's supposed to be you cant do much about it. Know how you feel about undoing bodges. Really makes welding a chore at times instead of an enjoyable project.
