Hello all,
I'm looking to sell my mk1 Eunos and get myself an actual classic to learn on. After looking about, being too large for a mini and not willing to consider a beetle, the Morris Minor has caught my eye.
Ultimately I would be looking to modify the car not necessarily restore it to standard, but with the ultimate aim of a 4 inch roof chop and a Zetec upgrade.
This raises questions however. I have some good friends with a bodyshop for more difficult work, but not sure about where I could get the glass cut and engine installed in the North East. Although I know the door glass would also need to be cut, what kind of job is this to do?
I have also been unable to find what type of upgrades I would need to do to the diff.
If anyone has any suggestions, they would be much appreciated.

If you are thinking of a zetec, then you are going to be popping halfshafts long before you knacker the diff. The normal approach is to borrow an axle off an early escort...

Where in the North East are you?
Morrisons Glaziers in Ashington should be able to help with the glass http://www.morrisons-glazing-services.c ... fault.aspx (ignore the double glazing side of things, they are glass specialists and can cut and polish most things)

If youre too large for a mini, it seems pointless lowering a roof!
