Boy scouts managed with a basic Trangia for years. I daresay they now tend to use gas instead of meths as a fuel, but if they are light enough for boy scouts camping, they are light enough to carry in a Moggie.

I have a 230VA/C inverter capable of 2kW; I think it weighs about 22 1/2 kg. Runs off 48V D/C. Ideal if one has an old EV battery reconfigured for 48V, or half a tonne or more of lead acid fork truck battery.
