LP896 Wheels

Post by redduster »

Does anybody know if this wheel designation is anything other than the standard Minor road wheel?
Thanks :-?

I believe that standard car rims are LP802 and van rims LP917.
Someone with more knowledge will come along soon! I've not come across LP896's.

I think it is an extremely rare 'reverse rim' version of the LP917 wheel - and 4.5" wide.... How many do you have ?

I was 'guessing' so - not aware of any other markings -of course - may not be Minor wheels at all? Can you give us a picture duster?

There's a short thread here from a few years back from a Maltese pick up owner who had a set of the LP896 rims: http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f= ... ilit=lp896 Perhaps they were just used on export models?
