i had a blown headlight which i replaced and all seemed well but this has also blown any ideas cheers geoff

Is this sealed beam type headlamp? Was the replacement new or secondhand?
New replacements are very hard to obtain and secondhand ones which have often been stored for a very long time often seem not to last long once lit up :(

As above - fit halogen headlamps. Much better.
