Hi I've just fitted the carb to my traveller and it starts ok but it spits through the carb.
How do I solve this? Thanks.

Re: Spitting Carb!?!?!?!!
Do you mean that the carb is leaking fuel?

That's usually a sign of the timing being out or valve seats leaking. Any other symptoms?
Re: Spitting Carb!?!?!?!!
As above - valve gaps ok? Compressions ok? Plug leads on correct order?? Exactly when does it do this - while idling/when accelerating/when slowing down ?? is there a teaspoon of oil in the damper chamber?

It spits through the carb when accelerating
Re: Spitting Carb!?!?!?!!
As well as all the other checks I've asked you to make - is it the correct needle for the engine spec - or just a random needle? Any better with the 'choke' pulled out slightly? Is there a spring present inside the 'bell' - and try some EP90 in the damper chamber if everything else is in order.
