Lost Paperwork
I have previously posted about 2 morris minors in Cyprus and 1 not having paperwork, The person who allegedly owned the car left Cyprus approx 15 years ago, The one without paperwork was given to the person I purchased off as a payment for a debt, the paperwork was never transferred into this person,s name I have now got the Chassis number : M/AW3 D 975049 Engine number 9M U H 621224 can any one advise as to how I can change the paperwork into my name and me be the registered owner
Re: Lost Paperwork
It depends where you are planning to keep and use the car. For the uk see the DVLA website for import vehicle procedures. If you are leaving it in Cyprus check with the local registration authority. All countries have their own procedures.

Re: Lost Paperwork
You'd best start with Cyprus first - vehicle should be registered on their records.
I've never dealt with Cyprus, but you need to it through official channels.
Do you have a body number for the vehicle, engine number is of correct age?
Pm me if you have any problems

Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Cyprus is lovely but very bureaucratic. Not done cars there but if it's like everything else they do be prepared for a long and frustrating wait!
