It seems logical with this combination to use a Midget hydraulic clutch mechanism, fitting a master cylinder by copying Phil's impressive bit of engineering

The quandary is this. Do I fit my known good 1098 box to get me back on the road, with a standard 1098 mechanical linkage (probably with lengthened relay lever), or do I take a risk and fit the new box and the hydraulics now while the shell is stripped and easy to access and adapt? Or is using a mechanical linkage a sensible long term setup which can be used for either of these boxes?
