eyebolt bush replacement.

Post by trabant »

I have and am wanting to replace the front suspension eyebolt bushes on my minor mr Haynes manual doesn't see to have any information on how to do it and it looks like it might be a little tricky with the torsion bar there. Hints and tips please.

Very strange, have you got the correct manual? That's not being facetious, it's just that I learnt to do this job 30+ years ago by reading the Haynes manual and had no trouble at all; just followed the steps one by one. If I get a chance later I'll dig out the pages for you.

Download the REAL Manual from Google - it's free. But this subject has been covered over and over again on this forum - I suggest you use the 'search' facility to find it! Strongly suggest you fit polyurethane bushes in the eyebolt. And - inspect the chassis leg carefully for any cracking around the eyebolt hole.
