Window Frames

Post by marvin »

One of the fixing studs on the underside of the rear nearside window frame (4 door Series 2) has sheared - the frame is out at the moment. A friend of mine and I are weighing up how to fix this. I must admit that I'm a bit wary of dismantling the frame because the corner pieces within the frame that the fixings screw into, appear to be carbon steel unlike the frame iteslf which is stainless and dismantling the frame could create more problems. Does anyone have any details of the frame assembly that they could share, or has anyone else come across this problem?

Many thanks. It's amazing what you can find when you know where to look. I've just pulled out my Morris Minor Centre catalogue and found the attached.[frame]Image[/frame]
