Rear window seal

Post by lencot76 »

Finally fitted the rear window, after a lot of pushing and cursing.Unfortunately there were a couple of small bits af damage to the seal.Does anyone have a seal they had to take out because it was damaged.I think that it would be possible to fit another small section in ,with silicon sealer. It is almost too small to have to remove and start with another new seal :-?

You could try repairing the damage area with Sugru, it's a rubberised putty that sets with a similar consistency to the screen rubber and it comes in black :)
