Hi all,
Myself and my partner have embarked on a complete resto of this little car. I started around this time last year and progress has been slow and at points non existent.[frame][/frame]
As you can see plenty of welding and new panels will be required.[frame][/frame][frame][/frame]
Sorry about the photos being on the side![frame][/frame][frame][/frame]
Braces have now been welded across the doors. 1st bit of mig welding I've done!
Any hints on which bit to replace first would be greatly received. I was thinking of doing the floor one side at a time then the sills then centre crossmember.

It looks like a fair bit has been cut out already, you need to be carefull not to cut to much away, floors then sills would be a good starting point, tack it all together first and weld in small lengths to avoid distortion.

I wish that was cut away, that's rust that has removed the metal for me!

I probably sound like a stuck record, but have you ensured that all the doors actually fit before bracing the shell? There is very little holding the bottom of your A and B pillars and it's quite likely they will have moved.

Hi Rod
When the car first arrived it was in fact complete. Well I say complete engine gearbox and doors were all in place and closed no problems, thankfully! Any help comments are always gratefully received.
