Front door
Can any one give me a few pointers I have just hung the front door on my van the gaps are good I have no seals fitted yet but when shutting the door the last inch of closing it seems to spring back as if the hinge is bound. Any tips will be gratefully received

Re: Front door
Try wedging a nut or something between the leaves of the hinge prior to closing. It sounds like the hinge pillar has been bent 'outwards' slightly perhaps by overextending the door opening.

Re: Front door
Is the pin on the door and the receptor on the B post ? they can get mis-aligned, as can the small door frame catch and door handle- if you are that far advanced into the door hanging.

Re: Front door
Thanks for the information regarding my door I have found that the A post is marginally out and requires just twisting round a very small amount , but not a small job as it is all welded up . It looks like it is just the bottom hinge that is slightly binding when fully closed.
