windscreen wiper arms 68

I have ordered two new arms (as mine were stolen) for my minor 68 but they do not or will not fit on. There is a clip type feature inside the fittings that is slightly different then my last lot. The metal "clip" inside is bent inside rather than bent outside of the circular fitting that slots onto the car. Have I bought the wrong arms? Or am I putting them on wrong? I have ordered from two companys now and still the same style. Any help will be much appreciated

A 68 Minor should have splined arms !
