I need a ball park price for body restoration and paint of a Traveller
If its worst case
I'm thinking new sills, floors, all the usual places ( not including wood) carried out by a restoration company
What are your experiences on price
I need to have an idea by 20:00 so any help would be appreciated

How long is a piece of string? Nowhere near sufficient information to give a reliable estimate. You could be looking at anything from £3K to £8K.

Well a complete wood kit fitted is just under £3000 and that is without any welding or preparation !! So add on wheel arch repairs and across the back in the corner you'll be looking at £4000. Add then the price of a full respray, done professionally, I would say £3000 and again, thats without sills etc. And thats before you even touch any mechanical upgrades.
So I'd say £5000 if you do it on the cheap with a home respray or £10,000 if you pay a company.
Now you can see why WRCC are charging £10,000 a Traveller or £15,000 for a 1275 version. It actually seems good value when you access it like this.

He did say "not including wood" though

Re: Urgent Info Required
If it needs sills, then it will need much more, and possibly the wood would need to come off anyway.. So yes at least £10k, and possibly a two year wait in a queue. Far better to buy one that's already been done.
