Changing carburettor

Post by OwenPaskell »

Right so on Saturday I picked up a Morris minor with a 1098cc engine and the carburettor is dead so, I want to replace it. What other carbs can I put on it with minimal hassle?

SU Carbs do not normally die, they just need a bit of maintenance

Another SU !!!
Sorry.
They've been good carbs for years and years and are still good now so just get another the same if it's ''Dead''
Strange though as I have twin 1960s SU carbs that are original, still fine and serviceable.
