Minor Pickup body removal??????

Hi question have just started the process of 'lovingly restoring' my 71 pickup I have a couple of front chassis legs that will need replacing. I have recently found a bare chassis for sale that appears to be in good condition.
My question is, is it worth getting the other chassis and how hard is it to swap the body over in my workshop (I mean garage)

Yes it's worth getting a chassis that's in good condition! It's involved changing the chassis as you basically have to split the cab from the back remove and store somewhere, then build on the replacement chassis. Well worth doing though because you can get at everything that needs doing. I've done it in a small garage but not easy. Do you want easy?

Easy is for wimps!! Should have enough space, will just remember to brace the cab before I remove it. Rest is off already
