hot Car Roof

Hi my Black MM car inside very hot Bz sunlight - it has inside hood also - i just look car roof - then i can not see any fiber or other layers between car roof and hood what can i do for it - can i use heat covers - that use house roof and for engin heat ( I see it coverd van engin)

Paint the roof white? Or - cut it off and make a nice convertible ? Taking out the headlining is not a job for the faint-hearted.... And getting it back in again with damage is highly unlikely..
