Seat Covers
I would like some waterproof seat covers for my morris minor 1000, so that when I drive it with filthy clothes the seats will not be ruined. Can any recomend any seat covers that will fit or can easily be made to fit standard seats?
Re: Seat Covers
Plenty of Land Rover type waterproof zip covers on ebay.

Re: Seat Covers
My daughter bought these for her brand new VW Up. They are excellent quality.

Re: Seat Covers
Thank you for all of the suggestions, I think the Land Rover type may be the way forward.
Overalls would work most of the time, however as I am often outside and get soaked through and plastered in mud they would be of use use kepping the seats dry.panky wrote:Overalls
would they not be to thin?bmcecosse wrote:Black bin bags ?
Re: Seat Covers
Not if you buy decent quality ones..... Morrisons have good big thick ones. I use them for all my garden waste. May be a bit slippery - but easy to tuck under the seat for use when needed. Obviously not the single molecule thick type sold by Lidl and Aldi........

If you are anywhere near a windsurfing shop, they are in common use by ,we tend to get into the car with a wetsuit on ,in cold weather, and most have a waterproof cover on the front seats.

Re: Seat Covers
I have brought some seat covers off Amazon for £13.79. They fit reasonably well and are not to high on the back of the seat. The material is not the thickest but I have seen seat covers a lot thinner so I will just have to see how they fare.
