BMC Rosette

Post by jagnut66 »

Hi,
I don't know what members opinions on these are but for those like me who like to display them on your car I just thought I'd post up the link (below) to a Vinyl one from the States that I've just bought and installed.
Like I say, I don't know what other members experiences of the Rosettes are but I found the transfer one I had on Abby previously to be flimsy, fiddly to install, it faded very quickly to the point where you could hardly make out what it was and was an absolute nightmare to remove tonight!!
The one from the States is much more substantial, you just peal it off the backing and install, no fuss at all. Much in the same way that you might a car tax disc holder.

They'll only go up in price, so I think I'll get a spare and put it away for the day when I finally find the spare cash to treat myself to a splitty! :D
Best wishes,
Mike.

But that is how it should be! They fade just like BMC faded so quite in role. :D

The original BMC ones supplied with the car were paper and did indeed fade.

I'm surprised they fade as I've had stuff from the same seller and the colours are still bright after five years.
