They don't fit very well, the steel is very thin and of poor quality so they rust while you're sleeping :(
I have a pair on my saloon and when they completely fall to bits (which won't be long....) I'll spend the extra and buy some Heritage ones next time despite the extra cost. It'll be worth it in the long run I think.

I guess it depends on whether you plan to keep the car long-term? If you do, then spending the extra money is a wise investment I think.

I'm not sure I agree with the pattern/heritage comments. The amount of filler work required on the heritage wings is fairly scary...

they are thicker steel but the ones i saw were nearly octagonal around the headlight ! any steel will rust-the main thing is to make sure its well protected against the elements.

Appart from the thickness which if well protected should not be an issue, the other issue seems to be the pattern ones have a ugly seam under the headlight, as mine came with 2 newish pattern wings I plan to weld these up, but if you are paying someone to fit them this may not be cost effective.

If we had to buy new ones I would go fiberglass, with some effort they can be a good fit and they don't rust, if fiberglass is good enough for a lotus it will do on the minor!
