series 2 seat belts

I have now all but finished the restoration of my 1954 series 2 (2 door).

My wife insists on seat belts but how?

The door pillar seems too thin to fix anything to? and in the middle of the floor is the box section of the chassis which has the brake pipes running though it.

Any suggestions,

I'm not too sure how much use seat belts are in a minor. Perhaps good psychologically? Saw one once with lap belts!

seat belts work in morris minors
