Pommreg hasn't been able to provide any specific details about his emails but if you pm me details of your name, the date & content of your emails and who you sent them to I'll look into this for you.

I take it that you're a fairly new club member as details of the nominated club charity are posted in Minor Matters, plus individual branches tend to support local charities and details of these are usually included in the 'Branch News' section.

It would seem that if you are not a member your not privy to such information :D
A better idea would be to post a sticky each year at the top of the message board with the nominated charity, people who are non members of the club can then donate if they wish to.

I think I know but I'm just waiting for confirmation from the club before I post details.

Well giving to charity is a personal choice so it's up to individuals if they wish to donate or not, and to which charity. The club has various events / occasions where proceeds go to charity and both members and non-members will be aware of this when they they attend these events - it's not kept a secret! If a non member wishes to donate specifically to the club charity, as a way of showing support to the club, contacting the club office directly to do this will ensure that the donation gets recorded as a club one, if that's what the person wants.

TrickyD...

Very good idea and good publicity for MMOC. I'm sure it will be done when the new webmaster is in place

Cam, congratulations, not an easy job!

Will your work commitments give you sufficient time for the webmaster post?

Would it not be beneficial to the club to have someone from the office, someone who can answer these questions, as an active presence on this forum?
