1956 series 2 restoration

Stood for over twenty years in a garden. On the surface she didn't look to bad till I got her home and started having a closer look.
I started in 2012 and now nearing completion
Little blood, lots of sweat, no tears but lots of pennies.[frame]

Not a very happy sight greeted me when I completed the rotisserie.
Not completely surprised. Time to learn how to weld.

Hi,
Just viewed the 'youtube' photo compilation of your restoration. A lot of hard work done very well indeed. I must have been extremely satisfying to bring her back from the dead like that. I particularly like your home made 'A' frame car roller, very innovative. And the end result is a lovely solid splittie that you can enjoy for years to come!

It as been very satisfying and even when the original budget was surpassed I didn't lose enthusiasm .

Hi All.

I am nearing my part restoration of my series II,

Loads and loads of parts…….hours………..money………..ETC

She stood in a garage for 40 years and started straight away!!!

She will be in the body shop in the next few weeks to complete the works , full bare metal spray.

Then I intend to put many miles on her original clock in the coming years.

I have owned many cars of all types but she is far the best I have ever owned.

I simply love her.
