A few Morries in a shed!

Post by LanceNZ »

Had an hour to kill yesterday before catching a flight from Napier to Auckland. A colleague of mine said "you should go and see Ian, he's got a few Morries in his shed" - lets just say it's bit more than a few.....

Yeah, there is a pile of vans outside gently decomposing themselves - and as far as I know, he doesn't sell anything. He told me that he has 40 grandkids and has a 4-door minor for each of them when he passes on!

Best give them one now, he can then enjoy seeing them being used :D

I'll remind him next time I'm over in NZ!

I visited there about 3 years ago and was told the same story. I wanted some NZ AA badges to add to my collection but he wont sell them either. Its an amazing Museum - if only we could set up something like that here.
We were on our way south heading for the Morrie Convention in Christchurch after visiting the Bay of Islands etc and spotted a few interesting Morries on route.
