Re: Essex branch meetings
Our First Monthly Meet
On Tuesday 13th August the Essex branch held the inaugural monthly meet at the Onley Arms, Stisted. The aim is to have a regular meeting for individuals who love all things Morris Minor and good conversation, as well as perhaps attracting new members to the branch; the secretary has had many emails from non-members asking where we meet.
The first gathering was well attended, fifteen members in all, the conversation was great as was the beer and sandwiches provided. A lovely party atmosphere developed and it turned out to be an enjoyable, relaxing evening. We hope to continue with these meets into the New Year.
A Morris MinorMeet on the Second Tuesday of every Month.
It will initially be held at The Onley Arms, The Street, Stisted, CM 77 8AW (near Braintree, only half an hour from Chelmsford).
The next meeting will be onTuesday 12th November.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME

The Monthly Meet (on the Second Tuesday of Every Month)
In 2014, this now has a new venue The Griffin (www.griffinhalstead.co.uk). This is a newly refurbished pub serving hand-picked Real Ales as well as a home-cooked bar menu. The pub prides itself on its comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, and the club has been warmly welcomed. There is a large car-park and a pool table, for the young of heart. The pub is 10 minutes from Braintree and 30 minutes from Chelmsford off the A131. Hope to see you all there on the 11th February at 7.30pm for 8.00pm

Re: Essex branch meetings
Usually during the winter at Danbury, out and about in the summer. On the 19th they are starting the run at Battlesbridge for breakfast, so ideal for you.
Re: Essex branch meetings
Hi,
I am new to the group and to Morris Minor's.
I was wondering when and where the next Essex meeting will be, as I would like to attend if possible.
Unfortunately, I won't be in the Morris as it's currently in bits being restored.
Mike.
