Great service from Charles wares
ordered wrong bits "doh" my fault from Richard in spares for some DIY on Kermit.
CW accepted them back without question. And promptly paid me for the unused parts.
I have only positive things to say of their customer service, thanks Richard

May I join in and state, that I am a satisfied customer, too?aupickup wrote:its good to hear spome good news from them![]()
I bought my 1969 replica convertible in 2010. The purchase went very smoothly, and the restoration was 98 % of what we had negotiated before (it only turned out later, that a welded seam in one of the doors was not properly rust proofed). As a newbie I had to ring thém up a couple of times to ask questions during the first years of my ownership, and they were all answered in a very friendly way. In some cases I even got drawings or photographs by e-mail.
I have heard that some customers had complaints and at least one disagreement had to be dealt in court, but I cannot support this opinion. The Moggy I bought was not cheap, but I got a value for money. For me it would have been at least as expensive to travel to Britain, tour the country during a short holiday to find a decent car, and have to rely on the explanations of the previous owners.
I met Zac Ware and Tim Brennan at the Morris Centenary at Cornbury Park last year, and they seemed to be happy to see my Moggie again in a condition as good as it left their workshop. That shows me they like their job.
I personally have not regretted having bought my Minor at CW.
Cheers
Hubert

Good to hear people go out of their way to praise suppliers, usually you just hear the negative reports.

Sorry I meant well masked, and constructive, criticism of certain suppliers of wheels, wheel bearings and steering rack gaiters

No , sorry - won't do - 'criticism' is not allowed whether well meant or otherwise!

Criticism, like praise, is part of life, its how we learn and improve. People are too afraid to 'rattle cages' these days!
The above is in no way any sort of complaint or negative comment
