rear traveller doors

hi all
and HELP
i have nearly finished the resto on my 66 traveller .
i today tryed to fit the rubbers on the rear doors ,i have not gone for stanard seals as there is not a lot of room ,dont know why but there ant.
so got some thin rubber on the roll wich will do the job .
tryed to fit the top and sides to the post. then tryed to shut the doors problem ,will not shut .one will then try to shut the other and lock it it will not close together , so i sanded down one side edge . still no change took doors off the hinges put the doors on wiuth no hinges then marked up new holes drilled them and refitted them. still the same thing happing.
now the doors seem thatr there bendind at the top near the glass im now hitting my head off the wall .
please please please could some one out thee give me a way haw to sort this i have no more idears and is one of the last things to do before the dreded mot

Not sure exactly what you mean, are the two doors together too wide for the aperture? I have to close both doors together on my Traveller, if I close the left one first then the right one just clunks against it. Slot them both together while still a couple of inches open, then push and it's fine.

my trav you have to have both doors open a few inches open and close together....

my trav you have to have both doors open a few inches open and close together....

I've just renewed my Traveller timber and before I put the back door seals on I could close the left door first and the right door would close after. Obviously when you glue the seals on you make the "hole" smaller, I had to pull/stretch the seals to make them thick enough for the doors to be water tight but thin enough to allow the doors to close. Like everyone else I have to close both doors together.
